Sketched design for a 15-light Candelabra for Exeter University, 1966. This shows the orginal design for a pair of 15-light candelabra commissioned by the Goldsmiths' Company as a gift to Exeter University. The slim arm (or branches) were built up holow from sheet silver soldered up with strengthening internal bulkheads at intervals along their length. The foot is bonded onto black fibre and secured with silver screws. Engraving around the edge of the foot by George Lukes.
